Texas Driving Records

TX Driving records, also called Motor Vehicle Records are available form our system for employment and DOT Compliance.  You can order a 3 Year driving record or a 5 Year CDL Driving Record.   Commercial Driving Records can include traffic violations, accidents, license suspensions, revocations, reinstatements, restrictions and Medical Card Certification.

We also Offer FMCSA PSP Reports that will show 5 years of Crash history and 3 Years of Inspection History

License Appearance

The current driver licenses and identification cards, redesigned with new and enhanced security features, were put into production April 15, 2009.

Texas was granted REAL ID compliance as of August 14, 2017. Texas issued DL and ID cards issued after October 31, 2016 are compliant.

License Classes– Commercial

  • Class A – Any combination of vehicles with a GCWR of 26,001 pounds or more—providing the GVWR of the vehicle or vehicles being towed exceeds 10,000 pounds.

  • Class B – Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,000 pounds or more, any one of those vehicles towing a vehicle that does not exceed 10,000 pounds GVWR, and any vehicle designed to transport twenty-four passengers or more (including the driver).

  • Class C – Any single vehicle or combination that is not a Class A or B if either vehicle is:
    a –  Designed to transport sixteen to twenty-three passengers, or
    b –  Used in the transportation of hazardous materials that require the vehicle to be placarded under 49 C.F.R. Part 172, Subpart F.
